Mumbai : On the Hathras issue, Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi has bashed Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut for speaking irrationally about Maharashtra CM and making objectionable statements on Mumbai but fail to speak about the UP CM on the Hathras gang-rape of Dalit teen.
In a tweet, Priyanka Chaturvedi said, ‘din raat Mumbai Polices ko kosane ke lie jinako y saichurity se navaaza gaya, jo ‘mahilaon’ kee ‘buland aavaaz’ banakar, mukhyamantree aur raajy ke baare mein aapatti janak bayaana baazee kar raheen thee, meediya kee chahiti thee, unake munh mein dahee jam”. Who made so many controversial statements and acted as flag bearer of women’s issue, has now kept her mouth shut.
Earlier, after Hathras incident on 30 September, Kangana tweeted one that she has confidence in the ability of the Yogi government and hopes that the victim of Hathras will get justice.
In the mid- September, Kangana Ranaut had locked horns with Maharashtra government in regards with suicide of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. After that she made derogatory remarks on Mumbai calling POK. Thereafter alleged illegal construction of Kangana Ranaut was demolished by BMC. During this, Kangana constantly attacked the Maharashtra government regarding women’s safety.
In the Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamna on Saturday, the UP government has been severely criticized on the issue of Hathras. The newspaper writes that the people who attacked the lynching of two sadhus in Palghar are silent on not being able to protect the daughter of their state. After all, what kind of justice is this.
The opposition has slammed the UP government for its injustice done to Hathras victim. The Dalit teen was not only sexually assaulted by 4 upper caste men but she was also dishonored by Up administration as her body was cremated in the middle of night at 2.30 pm. Since then, the family and entire village has been under police surveillance. The UP administration has neither allowed any political people nor media to enter the village or meet the family members.
