Hathras : A dalit teen was brutally gang-raped in village of Hathras district, Uttar Pradesh 2 weeks ago. The protest was erupted after midnight cremation of Rape victims dead body. The Yogi Adityanath government has to face backlash due to its negligence from the opposition. Meanwhile, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and former party president Rahul Gandhi will meet the victim’s family in Hathras on Thursday. However District Magistrate of Hathras says that the boundaries of the district are sealed and Section 144 has been implemented.
Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh said, ‘We have seen Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath advising others during the last few months. I suggest them to take care of their state and take strict action against the ‘Jungle Raj’ prevailing in there’s.
Police administration is asked to be on alert after the information of Priyanka and Rahul coming to the village was circulated. All the boundaries of the district have been sealed and intensive checking is being carried on. All roads leading to the village of the victim are closed, while some Congress leaders have reached the Delhi border to bring Rahul and Priyanka with them.

Many has sparked the old deads. The incident of Baran in Rajasthan was compared to Hathras of UP. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has described the incident in Baran, Rajasthan as being unfortunate to be compared to Hathras. He said, ‘The incident in Hathras is highly condemnable, as much as in the Baran. However, the girls themselves in the 164 statements given before the magistrate said they with there own consent were hanging out with boys. Medical treatment of girls was done and investigation revealed that boys are also minors, however investigation will continue. The happening of an event and taking the action are two different matters. What is important is the immediate course of action. A section of the media and the opposition are trying to mislead the people of the state and the country by comparing a gruesome incident like Hathras.
UP cabinet minister Siddharth Nath Singh said, ‘Why are they (Congress leaders) not visiting Rajasthan? Will Sonia, Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi respond to the happenings in Rajasthan? They want to visit the district and do politics on this issue.
Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said on the incident in Uttar Pradesh, ‘barbaric criminals will definitely be punished for their crime. Investigation teams are advancing the investigation. But I think there should be no political trip on it. Those who are trying to increase tension through political trip should not do so. Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi targeted the Yogi government and said that the BJP’s slogan is ‘Don’t save daughter, hide facts, save power’. Rahul Gandhi tweeted, ‘The persecution and misdeeds of the government continue on daughters in Jungle Raj in Uttar Pradesh. Never won a honor while she was alive and took away the dignity of the funeral.
Bahujan Samaj Party president Mayawati said, ‘After the Hathras incident, I expected the UP government to take action against those who committed crimes against women. However similar crime was committed in Balrampur with a Dalit girl. Under the BJP’s UP government, criminals, mafias and rapists are roaming freely. Not a single day passes in UP without any crime against women. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath should resign if he cannot ensure the safety of women. He is unable to maintain law and order in the state. I urge the Center to send him to Gorakhnath Math in his place. Yogi is not keeping the state, President’s rule should be implemented in the state.
Hathras border is sealed
Hathras District Magistrate P Lashkar said, ‘The limits of Hathras are sealed. Section 144 of IPC has been implemented in the district, no more than five people are allowed to gather. We have no information about Priyanka Gandhi’s visit. The SIT will meet the aggrieved family members today, the media will not be allowed. ‘
Rahul and Priyanka will go to Hathras at 11 am to meet the family of Hathras victim. A large number of police personnel have been deployed to stop them on the Noida border.
