Pune: A 55-year-old man succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at Sassoon Hospital five days after he was beaten up by his son over a trivial issue. The incident took place on November 25 at Khopedewadi village in Velhe tehsil of Pune district.

The deceased has been identified as Ramesh Vitthal Jorkar (55). His son, Prakash (29) has been arrested by Pune Rural Police on charge of murder. Prakash’s mother Sangeeta has filed the complaint in this regard.
