Pune: Precision Automation and Robotics India (PARI) company co-founder Mangesh Kale is no more. Industry veterans mourned his untimely demise as a great loss on personal level as well as for the industry.

Mangesh Kale, an engineer from Pune had started Pari Robotics in 1992 with an idea of providing manufacturers with automation services that would yield great efficiencies and increase profits. PARI has deployed over 1,500 automated systems worldwide across more than 75 global customers through its factories in Pune and Detroit.

PARI, India’s largest automation company having annual turnover of Rs 500 crore, was acquired last month by Wipro’s industrial automation arm.

Mangesh Kale was the member of Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA) Executive Committee for several years and chaired the Automation Committee for a while. He was part of MCCIA’s business delegations to China and Germany and played a leading role in MCCIA’s ‘IT for Manufacturing’ initiative.

An inspiration for many entrepreneurs in India and abroad, Mangesh Kale was one of the biggest names in India’s Automation Sector, known for his passion, determination and deep understanding of engineering, as well as customers’ pain points. He was a prolific speaker on automation, at Indian and global events.
