Farmer’s Protest : Gujarat Farmers’ Society opposes Central Government’s Agriculture Bill

Surat : The Gujarat Farmers’ Society has also registered a protest against the Agriculture Bill passed by the Central Government. In which the leaders of Surat city Gujarat farmers’ society sent an application letter to the district collector and demanded that the agriculture bill be withdrawn by the government.

An application letter was sent to Surat District Collectorate under the leadership of South Gujarat Farmers Society President Ramesh Patel. In which the farmers of Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh who were opposing the agriculture bill passed by the central government expressed their support. The farmers have alleged that three anti-farmer laws have been framed by the central government. Due to which the farmers of the country are fearing a huge loss.

These laws have been enacted by the government under pressure from corporate and multinational companies for which the farmers of the country are protesting. However, the farmers who have declared blockade in Delhi have expressed their support to the farmers in Gujarat.
