Mumbai: Police has filed a charge sheet in the alleged TRP (television rating point) scam case in the court on Tuesday. Crime Intelligence Unit of Mumbai police has arrested 12 people including the distribution head of a channel and owners two other channels.
TRP scam came to light when Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC), rating agency through Hansa Research group filed the complaint that some channels were manipulating TRP numbers. Enforcement Directorate has also filed ECR following FIR by Mumbai Police.
