Nashik: A nine year boy, Ramji Babulal Yadav had been first kidnapped and then killed by a neighbour on Tuesday.
The neighbour a few days ago had robbed a person for Rs.4,000 and took away his phone too on the pretext of showing him the way, the entire incident was witnessed by the nine year old.
On Thursday, the accused had taken Ramji saying that they will be going on a stroll and then led him to a nearby village and choked him to death. The neighbour was scared the young boy might spill the beans about the robbery done by him and thought that it would be best to get him out of the way.
When the parents after asking around everywhere, the neighbourhood, his school friends and relatives could nowhere spot him, they realised that he was last week with the accused and rushed to the police station.
The Nashik Road Police then called the neighbour for further inquiry, he first refused to have any connection with the incident, however later on the truth was told and he admitted the mistakes
The cops and the family recovered the boy’s body from the spot where he was killed and the further process of filing a First Information Report (FIR) and future course of action is underway.
