Pune : Marriage hall owner booked for allowing guests more than 50

Pune: The wedding season has officially begun and several hundred weddings are lined up, however people are expected to allow the guest list up to 50 only. However the cops have taken action against Nakshatra Mangal Karayla’s owner Sandeep Jagtap (32) for allowing guests more than 50.

The cops have charged Jagtap as the norms were flouted and around 80 guests were present at the wedding. Also, here not many precautions were in place, the guests who attended this wedding did not wear masks and social distancing too went for a toss.

The cops from Alandi police station have booked the owner with charges and also a fine. Senior Police inspector Dnyaneshwar Sable from the Alandi police station has urged people to report such incidents that they come across and the cops will be taking immediate action against such violators.
