New Delhi : A low pressure area is likely to form in the North Andaman Sea on October 9. Given the expected situation, a cyclonic storm is expected to move towards coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha. The cyclone warning branch of the Indian Meteorological Department gave this information on Sunday. It has however not predicted any cyclonic storm. The low-pressure area is likely to cause rain in Odisha and coastal Andhra Pradesh between October 11-13.
A low pressure zone is the first phase of a cyclone. However, it is not necessary that every area of low pressure be converted into a cyclonic storm. It is noteworthy that cyclones often occur in the Bay of Bengal in October. In October of 2013 and 2014, severe cyclones Phailin and Hudhud came. Both these storms caused huge devastation in the coastal areas of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh.
Air pollution is also increasing in the plains of North India as winters are rising and minimum temperatures are falling. The situation is worrying in many cities. The air quality index (AQI) of Lucknow, Kanpur and Yamunanagar in Haryana reached critical conditions at 9:30 pm on Sunday. Experts are constantly anticipating that the more polluted the air, the stronger the coronavirus. In this case, the infection of the corona will become more difficult to stop.
Bhiwadi, the industrial city of Rajasthan, bordering Haryana on Sunday, was the most polluted in the country. Its AQI (Air Quality Index) was recorded at 311 on Sunday evening at five o’clock. Delhi, Ghaziabad and Greater Noida and Faridabad in the National Capital Region are also in the poor category.
