Kuala Lumpur : The terrorist attack in Nice, France, has drawn worldwide condemnation and the whole world has joined in the grief of France. Amid this, Former Prime Minister of Malaysia Mahathir Mohamad has made a very inflammatory statement. Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad has backed the attack, saying Muslims have every right to kill millions of French citizens.
Mahathir wrote a blog post after the Nice attack on Thursday. In this, he has made a very provocative statement against France. In the blog titled ‘Respect Others’, Mahathir does not directly mention the Nice attack. Mahathir tweeted a total of 14 tweets, one after the other. In it, he has said that he is discriminating against Muslims. Not only that, but for the atrocities that France has committed against Muslims in the past, Muslims have every right to kill millions of French citizens, Mohammed said.
Mohammed, referring to the assassination of French teacher Samuel Pett by a Chechens student, wrote: “Muslims have a right to be angry. They have every right to kill millions of French citizens. However, Muslims have not yet turned to ‘eye for eye’. France must teach its citizens to consider the feelings of others.”
A woman has been stabbed to death by an assailant at a church in Notre Dame, Nice, France. Two others were also killed. The 20-year-old attacker had arrived in France via Italy, according to an investigation so far. According to police, the assailant had entered the church with a Quran and a knife in his hand. The mayor of the city called it a terrorist attack.
